MAXGTPREFDES is a power-supply module for the FPGA SP623 Characterization Kit. The module uses the 25A MAX8686 power regulator with internal MOSFETs to supply all the rails of the 3.125Gbps transceivers on the Spartan-6 XC6SLX150T-3FGG676 FPGA. The power-supply module has been tested in hardware and shown to be the lowest noise when compared to competitor power-supply modules. The MAXGTPREFDES board complies with Xilinx power-supply module specifications and can be plugged directly into the SP623 board to power it. MAXGTPREFDES is a power-supply module for the FPGA SP623 Characterization Kit. The module uses the 25A MAX8686 power regulator with internal MOSFETs to supply all the rails of the 3.125Gbps transceivers on the Spartan-6 XC6SLX150T-3FGG676 FPGA. The power-supply module has been tested in hardware and shown to be the lowest noise when compared to competitor power-supply modules.
