| 2403 260 00057 SPEAKER-1318-4.5-SC-DUMBO The 13x18x4.5 mm rectangular Dumbo speaker is a high end miniature speaker specifically designed for portable consumer devices, such as music phones, smartphones or tablet computers where high quality sound is required. It is the world’s first miniature speaker featuring Knowles’ advanced membrane technologies resulting in a state-of-the-art silicone membrane. This unique Knowles silicone membrane enables ultra-high excursion rates providing extended low frequencies 650 Hz in 1cm3 backvolume and superior bass performance. The Dumbo speaker also features a higher power handling capacity up to 700 mW and is compliant according to the IPX7 waterproof standard. The input signal is fed into a coil in a magnetic field, which is attached to a membrane. Through the principle of the electromagnetic force, the membrane is moved according to the contents of the input signal.
