Laserwire operates independently of protocol and can thus be used in a wide range of applications. Laserwire plugs into the Laserwire Jack P/N FCBJ110LE1 , a small-footprint host-board connector. In addition, connection to SFP+, QSFP or XFP ports is possible using Laserwire SFP+, QSFP or XFP adapters P/N FTLX0071D4BNL, FTLX00Q1D4BNL or FTLX0011D4BNL, respectively . Laserwire utilizes a limiting receiver, avoiding the challenges of a linear receiver interface.
