MPC823FADS Features The MPC823 Family Application Development Motherboard supports porting and application and software development for the MPC8xx family of embedded microprocessors. A FADS daughterboard that operates in conjunction with the MPC8xxFADS Motherboard is offered for each MPC8xx microprocessor. Rate this Page -- - 0 + ++ Submit Care to Comment? The MPC823FADS daughterboard provides support specifically for the MPC823. It provides the following interfaces RGB, composite, and S-Video connectors, Type A and B USB connectors, 4-bit per color LCD panel connection support, and general high-density logic analyzer connectors for HP16500 Series logic analyzers. A copy of the Freescale MPC8bug debugger is included with the MPC823FADS. You will need an ADI card and parallel ribbon cable that plugs into a SUN4 workstation or PC host to run MPC8bug. The MPC823FADS development system does not include an ADI card. Please order MPC860ADI-PC to purchase an ADI card configured for the PC or MPC860ADI-SUN for a Sun4 workstation-compatible ADI card. Neither the SDS monitor, which communicates with the SDS SingleStep Lite Debugger, nor the Debugger itself, are currently included with the 823FADS.
