The ICE 200 In-Circuit Emulator is the perfect choice! A real-time In-Circuit Emulator based on a highly integrated AVR emulator chip. The ICE 200 speeds up the co-development of software and hardware for the world’s fastest growing microcontroller family, the AVR 8-bit RISC. The ICE 200 emulator interfaces with AVR Atmel’s Integrated Development Environment IDE for code writing and debugging.

The AVR ICE 200 In-Circuit Emulator is a powerful development tool to shorten development times for the AVR 8-bit RISC microcontroller. The AVR ICE 200 has all the advanced features that give the user complete control of the AVR microcontroller, combined with an intuitive user interface in AVR Studio. This makes the AVR ICE 200 the perfect tool to develop applications for AVR 8-bit RISC microcontrollers.

The AVR ICE 200 In-Circuit Emulator emulates all the powerful features of the AVR 8-bit RISC microcontroller. It gives read/write access to all AVR resources such as Flash memory, EEPROM, Register File, I/O locations, Program Counter, internal and external SRAM.

The ICE 200 is controlled by AVR Studio, the Integrated Development Environment IDE , for developing and debugging AVR applications in a 95/98 or Windows environment. The ICE 200 gives the user full run time control, unlimited number of breakpoints, symbolic debugging and full memory and register visibility.

Multiple ICE 200 emulators can be used by AVR Studio at the same time, limited only by the number of serial ports available, giving a high degree of flexibility.
