McOmber, Products & Apps May 9, 2013 New Tools Now Available for M Series Connectors LEMO is now offering new tools to help with M series connector assembly as follows: Front Nut Socket & Wrench The dress nut for many receptacles is difficult to tighten to proper torque values, without scratching or with space difficulty on panels. LEMO now offers a custom fit socket for the M series conical dress nuts for PE, HE and EC* shells and an optional Torque Wrench. There are eight sockets for the eight shell sizes, and two wrenches. One wrench is recommend for the four smaller sizes 0 through 3, and one is for the four larger shell sizes. Contact Insertion Tool One of the more challenging aspects of cable assembly is getting the female crimp contact properly seated in the connector. Guiding the contact through the grommet and into the correct contact hole can be a challenge. LEMO now offers a new set of contact-insertion tools, for both M and F series. Simply put the contact on the probe and pull it into place. New Tools Now Available for M Series Connectors

LEMO is now offering new tools to help with M series connector assembly as follows:

Front Nut Socket & Wrench The dress nut for many receptacles is difficult to tighten to proper torque values, without scratching or with space difficulty on panels.
