3 Automotive Attachment Tape 06394 Gray Technical Data Sheet January 2006 General Description Typical Applications 3M Automotive Attachment Tape 06394 is a .090-inch-thick, gray, highperformance, double-coated acrylic foam tape. This OEM-approved tape is designed for reliable attachment of a wide variety of automotive exterior and interior trim including running boards, ground effects, claddings, rocker panel moldings, spoilers, wheel flares, bumper trim and other larger or heavier automotive trim components. 3M tape 06394 is OEM approved for the most demanding trim attachment applications where bonding surface contours may be poorly matched and/or a thick foam is required. Its thick, gray, high-strength core offers unique viscoelastic properties that allow it to elongate and relax when put under load, thereby minimizing stress at the adhesive bond line. 3M Automotive Attachment Tape 06394 is a .090-inch-thick, gray, highperformance, double-coated acrylic foam tape.
