Use a pumping action for best results. fig 1 • After filling allow a few minutes for the gas to stabilize. LIGHTING • Turn fuel adjustment wheel 2 counterclockwise 2/3 of a turn. • Using both hands, pull safety lock down and hold with one hand, while simultaneously depressing trigger with free hand. Flame will ignite instantly. fig. 2 • For hands free use, follow instructions above. When trigger is COMPLETELY depressed, move the hands free on/off slide to the right. fig. 5 FLAME/TEMPERATURE ADJUSTMENT • Adjust the torch flame by turning the fuel adjustment wheel clock- wise - or counterclockwise Adjust the flame to approximately 1/2 to 1 in. 10-25 mm in length when using. Counterclockwise + gives you a longer broad flame, clockwise - gives you a shorter pinpoint flame. Don’t make the flame too long as it will only waste the gas and make the flame unstable. fig. 3 STORAGE • Turn fuel adjustment wheel clockwise - to off. If engaged, move on/off slide lock to the left to shut off the gas flow. fig. 5 • Make sure that the torch/tips are cool before storing or leaving unattended. CAUTION Keep out of reach of children. Do not touch flame guard when hot! Butane gas is extremely flammable, please handle with care. Always point away from eyes and body when igniting or operating. Do not store under direct sunlight or anywhere that will exceed 104°F/40°C. Make sure that the on/off adjustment knob fig. 5 is firmly closed and the flame is completely extinguished after using. Under no circumstances should you attempt to repair a damaged torch. After using, let the tool cool down before storing.
