Tantalum Surface Mount Capacitors High Temperature T498 150°C Rated MnO2 Series Overview The KEMET T498 Series is a high temperature product that offers optimum performance characteristics in applications with operating temperatures up to 150°C. Advanced materials and testing allow this series to perform with a reliability level of hours at rated voltage and temperature. The T498 Series is available in five standard EIA case sizes with RoHS compliant terminations as standard. • Meets or exceeds EIA Standard 535BAAC • Taped and reeled per EIA • Symmetrical, compliant terminations • Optional gold-plated terminations • Laser-marked case • 100% surge current testing • Complies with • Capacitance values of uF to 220 uF • Tolerances of ±10% and ±20% • Voltage rating of 6 50 VDC • 100% steady-state accelerated aging • Temperature/voltage derating is 2/3 at 150°C • RoHS Compliant and lead-free terminations standard • Operating temperature range of to Typical applications include decoupling and filtering in industrial and automotive end applications such as DC/DC converters, portable electronics, telecommunications, and control units operating at temperatures up to 150°C.
