IDT6V40088

The IDT6V40088 is a low cost, dual-output clock synthesizer. The IDT6V40088 generates a 100 MHz and 27 MHz output from a 27 MHz crystal or clock input. The 100 MHz output may employ Spread Spectrum to reduce system electro-magnetic interference EMI .

The device employs Phase-Locked Loop PLL techniques to run from a standard fundamental mode, inexpensive crystal, or clock. It can replace multiple crystals and oscillators, saving board space and cost.
• 10-pin 3x3mm DFN package
• Input crystal or clock frequency of 27 MHz
• 32 kHz Spread Spectrum Modulation
• Adjustable down spread
• Operating voltage of V
• Replaces multiple crystals and oscillators
• Advanced, low-power CMOS process

Pin Description

Connect this pin to a 27 MHz crystal or external clock input. 27 MHz ground. Connect to ground. Down spread select pin. See table above. PLL VDD. Connect to V. 100 MHz clock output. PLL ground. Connect to ground. Down spread select pin. See table above. 27 MHz VDD. Connect to V. 27 MHz clock output. Connect this pin to a 27 MHz crystal, or float for clock input. Thermal ground pad. Electrically isolated from die.
