Ordering Information The ordering code for Infineon microcontrollers provides an exact reference to the required product. This ordering code identifies • the derivative itself, i.e. its function set, the temperature range, and the supply voltage • the package and the type of delivery. For the available ordering codes for the C164CI please refer to the “Product Catalog Microcontrollers”, which summarizes all available microcontroller variants. Note The ordering codes for Mask-ROM versions are defined for each product after verification of the respective ROM code. Introduction The C164CI derivatives of the Infineon C166 Family of full featured single-chip CMOS microcontrollers are especially suited for cost sensitive applications. They combine high CPU performance up to million instructions per second with high peripheral functionality and enhanced IO-capabilities. They also provide clock generation via PLL and various on-chip memory modules such as program ROM or OTP, internal RAM, and extension RAM.
