T BRIEF GainSpan GS1011M / GS1500M Evaluation Board Mrk II PRODUCT OVERVIEW The GS1011M/GS1500M Evaluation Board supports the GS1011M 802.11b or GS1500M 802.11b/g/n module family which provides customers the mean to evaluate the capabilities of GainSpan’s ultra-low power wireless solutions for Wi-Fi networks. The Serial to Wi-Fi embedded software on the modules allows devices and appliances manufacturers to easily add Wi-Fi capabilities to their products with minor impact on the host microcontroller firmware. The evaluation board comes with pre-loaded serial to Wi-Fi firmware that supports a Limited AP mode, with built-in web-server for provisioning the device. The evaluation board works in conjunction with the serial to Wi-Fi evaluation kit software and firmware. The evaluation board has various jumpers, switches, push buttons and LED’s that provide support for evaluating different features and configuration based on the firmware loaded from the evaluation kit.. PRODUCT OVERVIEW

The GS1011M/GS1500M Evaluation Board supports the GS1011M 802.11b or GS1500M 802.11b/g/n module family which provides customers the mean to evaluate the capabilities of GainSpan’s ultra-low power wireless solutions for Wi-Fi networks.
