| Feature Spec Telehealth Application Kit Cloud-Enabled Reference Design for Telehealth Applications Overview The Telehealth Application Kit enables the creation of secure, highly scalable cloud-connected healthcare gateway solutions right out of the box. Based on the Semiconductor Home Health Hub reference design, this kit brings wireless and wired connectivity to a wide array of healthcare devices and sensors. Device Cloud by Etherios provides remote management and secure data integration capabilities, allowing customers to build innovative and connected telehealth solutions for the medical and healthcare market. About Telehealth Application Kit The Telehealth Application kit is the ideal reference platform solution for all product developments targeting the rapidly growing market for remote care and monitoring. The kit comes ready for application-specific customization, providing a fully functional reference implementation of a healthcare gateway with complete wired and wireless connectivity. The integrated interfaces include Ethernet, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, ZigBee, configurable Sub-GHz radio, NFC, USB, audio and LCD/touch screen option. Getting started is easy. The kit includes Home Health Hub reference design circuit board, panic button, power supply, connector cables and quick start guide, as well as downloadable software, documentation and sample applications. The kit offers support for Microsoft Windows Embedded Compact 7 and Linux. Complete design files, including schematics, BOMs and layout are available to customers. Device Cloud enables centralized management for the gateway and offer cloud-based data aggregation and processing. Security is ensured via a comprehensive security policy consisting of individual controls based on the definitions of the CSA, ISO27002, NERC CIP, PCI and HIPAA standards. These controls are enforced with active monitoring tools and verified with continuous policy compliance audits.
