LOAD-n-GO Handheld Programmer allows for quick field programming of targets with up to four firmware images. The programming process is as easy as 1-2-3 with the LOAD-n-GO. Simply load the program into the LOAD-n-GO via the USB cable, disconnect from PC, connect your target and program! LOAD-n-GO debug s upport covers all targets that have debug mode when used in conjunction with the C-Aware IDE Compilers. LOAD-n-GO can be used with all 8-bit, 16-bit, or 32-bit Microchip MCU or Flash Devices.

Remote Programming This flexible, hand-held, self-contained programmer can be used for remote programming purposes. With 2MB internal flash memory up to four separate programs can be stored on the LOAD-n-GO unit. Simply connect the provided modular cable from the unit to the target board. Use the on-board “Program Select” button to select the desired memory bank. One of the four Program LEDs will be illuminated to indicate the bank selected. Press the “Load” button to program and the status LED will begin flashing to indicate the program is loading. No additional software required or needed. When program is complete, the LED will stop flashing and turn green when successful! It's that easy!

In-Circuit Serial Programming & Debugging For use as a In-Circuit Serial Programmer simply connect LOAD-n-GO to a PC and using the provided CCSLOAD Programmer Control Software just select “ICSP” from the main menu. Programming is effortless Select the program to be placed in the selected memory bank, verify the file and that the target device is shown and click 'Burn Chip'! Nothing to it! LOAD-n-GO can also function as an In-Circuit Debugger if using the CCS C-Aware IDE Compiler with Real-time Advanced Debugging!

Power Options LOAD-n-GO can be used on 4 AA battery power or with the provided 9V DC adapter. If using with battery power, the unit will conserve battery life with an auto-shutoff feature if not used for 5 minutes. Programs will be saved even through power-down or auto-shutoff. The LOAD-n-GO can be used to provide 5V, 3.3V or 2.5V to the target board by inserting a shunt jumper on the LOAD-n-GO circuit board. For access to these jumpers, the case needs to be opened by removing the 4 screws on the back of the case. The location of these jumpers are marked on the circuit board.
