COVENTRY Clean Room Products Division of ITW Chemtronics TDS # 51125F Wrapped Polyester Swabs for Fiber Optics PRODUCT DESCRIPTION Coventry Wrapped Polyester Swabs consist of 100% continuous monofilament, cleanroom, polyester knit fabric held in place using a fluoropolymer shrink tube. These swabs are low in nonvolatile residue, ionic and particulate contamination, while providing exceptional strength and solvent resistance. The are characterized by the following features: No edge seamless head design eliminates seams and reduces scratch potential ‘Pillow-Tipped’ design provides high solvent capacity and cushioning for delicate parts High strength , durable head Low particulate and nonvolatile residue contamination No adhesives or binders are used in the construction Excellent solvent compatibility AVAILABILITY 51125F " cm Glass Filled Nylon Handle, 0 mm Wrapped Polyester Head, 15 swabs/ tube 18 tubes/case Available as EFB-12 Designed to clean fusion splice mirrors Replaces cotton tip swabs with fiber free design Replaces wood handled swabs with cleanroom compatible material Micro Mechanical Cleaning COMPATIBILITY Polyester Fabric Heads are compatible with most common solvents such as aliphatic solvents, isopropyl alcohol, methyl alcohol, dilute or weak acids, and ketones such as acetone or MEK.
