AS5163 12-Bit Automotive Angle Position Sensor Figure 1 Added Value of Using AS5163 The AS5163 is a contactless magnetic angle position sensor for accurate angular measurement over a full turn of A sub range can be programmed to achieve the best resolution for the application. It is a system-on-chip, combining integrated Hall elements, analog front-end, digital signal processing and best in class automotive protection features in a single device. To measure the angle, only a simple two-pole magnet, rotating over the center of the chip, is required. The magnet may be placed above or below the IC. Our semiconductor products do not contain any chemicals for all 6 substance categories, including the requirement that lead not exceed by weight in homogeneous materials. Where designed to be soldered at high temperatures, RoHS compliant products are suitable for use in specified lead-free processes. ams Green RoHS compliant and no Sb/Br ams Green defines that in addition to RoHS compliance, our products are free of Bromine Br and Antimony Sb based flame retardants Br or Sb do not exceed by weight in homogeneous material . The AS5163 is a contactless magnetic angle position sensor for accurate angular measurement over a full turn of A sub range can be programmed to achieve the best resolution for the application. It is a system-on-chip, combining integrated Hall elements, analog front-end, digital signal processing and best in class automotive protection features in a single device.
